As I mentioned earlier this week, a new blog name has been in the works–and it is now official. Single Servings has become Pine and Crave. You can read a little more here about what I envision for this blog going forward, but I just wanted to address a few questions you may have as to how this blog will be different or the same as Single Servings… (Also, this post was looking awfully colorless, so I’ve included some Instas of stuff I love, just ’cause.)
Q: Will you still be writing about food?
A: YES! 100%, yes! More and more, I’m just finding myself coming up with recipe ideas that don’t quite fit into a Single Servings box, so I wanted a new blog name that would allow me more creative space.
Q: What type of recipes can I expect?
A: Very similar recipes to what I’ve already been posting: lots of vegan, vegetarian, gluten-free, and generally healthy stuff. (Though, I will definitely stray here and there). I’ll also be adding in food ideas for parties, holidays, etc.
Q: Will you still be posting single serving recipes?
Yep! Most of my recipes will be single and two-serving recipes, simply because that’s how I usually cook.
Q: Will you still be posting meal plans?
A: This one’s TBD. I would like to, I’m just not quite sure how to attack these now that the blog isn’t all about cooking for one. So, we shall see.
Q: Will you be writing about non-food topics?
A: Maybe! I kinda want to let things unfold organically, but yes, it’s quite likely I’ll venture into non-food territory. All things in good time… 🙂
Let me know if you have any other questions–either in the comments, or you’re welcome to email me at email@example.com. Thanks for being a regular visitor, and I’m looking forward to sharing more fun stuff with you all!
Aaand, here are a few more pics of stuff I love…
Left: Lattes. I love ’em. Can’t get enough of ’em.
Middle: Mark Rothko. Clearly, not an original:).
Right: Rafael Nadal at the 2015 BNP Paribas Open. I would play tennis every day if I could find enough people to hit with.
Left: My cute parents.
Middle: Leaves and architecture at The Getty in L.A. There’s something very relaxing about that place. I absolutely love it there.
Right: Mike Birbiglia. If you’ve never heard of him, I insist you Google him right now and watch, listen to, or read anything from him. You will not be disappointed.
