Okay. So. I know it’s not even August yet, but I’m finding myself craving fall—just in small hits—so the deep purple of this smoothie is making me really happy right now. I must be needing whatever vitamins are in dark-colored fruits!
So anyway, another smoothie option for you—blend it up!
Single Serving | Vegan, Gluten-Free
Ready in: 3 min
1/2 cup frozen blackberries
1/2 cup frozen blueberries
1 banana (I used one that wasn’t very ripe, because I didn’t want to taste the banana in it)
1 handful of spinach
15 to 2o raw almonds (or 1/4 cup sliced almonds)
3/4 cup non-dairy milk (hemp milk is my fave)
Directions: Add all ingredients to a blender and process until smooth. Pour and enjoy!
